The following quote appears in the article, "On China’s Capital Controls" written by "A Senior Fellow, Doctoral Tutor and Director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences"

"Predictions of China’s imminent economic crisis that appeared in internationally renowned western journals are either rubbish or wishful thinking."

At first, I was forgiving, thinking - something must have been lost in translation. But the article was originally written in English, and you can't translate an innoculous statemtent into something like that.

Sigh.
