Going skiing tonight - very excited. We now have 6 people going - perfect! (Amy doesn't like odd #'s)

When my older sister and I were growing up in Richardson, we weren't allowed to watch TV. The only exception was Mr. Rogers (and later on, Sesame St). For me, and probably the greater part of my generation, Mr. Rogers was an intergal part of my childhood experience. Goodbye, Mr. Rogers, and thank you :)

Today
Ack. Today was suppopsed to be a really productive day. I was planning on getting out of the apartment by 10am, and spend the whole day in the library (the apartment, with all its distractions is a vortex, so I can't really get much work done), but I ended up on the phone for over an hour talking with apple, since I need to send it in to get fixed (I've tripped over my power cord a couple times dropping off the coffee table, and plain dropped a couple of other times). So that was my morning. Then, when i finally ate lunch and went to the library, i've found it hard to concentrate... even with coffee... hmmmm... lethargy.

But, being that I'm in a procratinatory mood, and that I haven't updated in a while...

I'm planning a ski trip for Amy and a couple of our friends this weekend.

Ahoy Ahoy!

I don't think I slept enough last night...

It's been a while - need to start updating this for real.

Highlights as of late:
* Super-memorable very romantic unforgetable v-tines day with Amy.
* Finished all major applications: State Dept background check, Hopkins-Nanjing Center app, financial aid applications.
* Settled on classes, enjoying very much, esp. International Monetary System.
* Met up with an old friend and violin collegue (from when I was 5 years old!), who by serendipidy also recently graduated from SAIS after a short unsatisfactory career in IT.
* Return to violin finally taking hold. Gave a short performance of some Bach at the SAIS talent show - very good response =). Now only a cello short of a piano quintet. In much better shape that I would have realized.
* Amy going to belize - without me :( - going to SF to go skiing with my two sisters, and maybe amy :)
* Did I mention how much International Monetary system ... okay, I'm a dork, but I was psyched when my "too Sensational: choice in exchange rate regimes" arived.
* Went to a Ladytron concert this past monday. Obscure 80's retro-fusion band from the UK.
* Lots of snow - 4 day weekend. Playing around, walking around the city, coffee and rings with Dennis.
* First China Studies gathering, watching PBS frontline show.

Anyways, I should and will go in more detail, and soon.
