Suburban Day
Finally that the sniper was caught and his big bad gun taken away, Amy and I finally ventured out into the suburbs to do some real suburban living. We first went to circuit city, where I replaced my stolen car stereo, amy bought a memory shtick for her brand spankin' new clie, and I bought some nifty computer equiptment (I got a wireless router to replace the one I fried a month and a half ago - now I can surf the web while I'm on the can - just kidding). Then we went to target to fufill our shopping list. For dinner we cooked some noodles with meatballs and you cai (that's chinese vegetables for you non-chinese speaking folk). Then afterwards we went out to hang out in Adams Morgan with our friend John, and his Georgetown law students, many of whom were extremely drunk and could not stand up. tisk tisk tisk. ) Giants
Of all the times to be too busy to watch baseball... My team, the SF giants finally made it to the world series after having choked the last two seasons. I've been way to busy with school and reckless driving charges to pay attention to baseball, but I'm definitely watching game 7 tomorrow and watch the Giants kick boot-tay. Whoo hoo. (1.51 am

Monetary Theory Midterm - Check
Just got out of my Int'l Monetary Theory midterm. Badda-bing! I think I kicked ass on it. I ended up using 5 different colored pens, and drew a multitutes of graphs. I had so much fun - I'm such an econ nerd! 8-BSo, in the news they claim that they caught the sniper-dude. Forgive me for being skeptical and a pessimist, but the poh-lice hasn't imbued me with too much confidence. It seems like all their actions so far has been more for trying to shore up public confidence and feelings of security, when in fact the continued thumb-nosing defiance of the sniper has done the opposite. I pray that they really did catch the guy, but I for one won't be venturing out to the suburbs until either they prove conclusivly that this is the guy, or there hasn't been a shooting in a significant amount of time. Time for my next test! (10.10 am

New York!
The New York was a blast and a half! (I've got to stop using silly antiquated phrases like "was a blast". My age is showing, or maybe simply my lack of suave). Anyways, in bulletpoints we:All in all, it was an excellent weekend. Amy and I decided that we should make regular trips down to Chinatow...er... New York. I posted up pictures from the trip. Also, I added some pictures to the DC album , and put in some pictures from my trip down to Austin over the summer. I'm also now a proud linker to Joanne Moy's weblog and Alison Moy's website ! Last night I went rock climbing with Darren. It felt good to go climbing again. There were a whole bunch of really talented hard-core climbers there - it was good to watch them, to have something to aspire to. I think Darren and I are improving, though - we've been completing more difficult climbs each time we go. This week is/has been pretty work heavy. I have a mid-term in Monetary Theory tomorrow - the class for which I've been to less than half the lectures. It's a mixed bag, so I'm not sure what to expect. On friday, I have my court date. I just had a meeting with my lawyer today, so I'm pretty confident / stress-free about that. It'll be good to have that done and over with. On Thursday, Amy and I are planning to have a mini-Homecomming reprise, as we go to Houstons to eat baby-back ribs. Hopefully Amy will be done with her appointment with her professor in time so that we can make it. I surrender. (4.44 pm

) Spills
Today was the second day in a row that I spilled my drink on or near my laptop. Yesterday, I spilled a whole glass of water on my laptop - thankfully I reacted quickly enough to save the laptop from short-circuiting. Just now, I spilled half a starbucks canned frappacino right next to my laoptop. Ironically, it spilled on my article about French imperialism in Vietnam. Anyways, I don't know what it is - maybe it's a reflection of my mental fatigue recently, or maybe I'm just unlucky.hmmm. (4.44 pm
