Arrived in Austin today to visit my buddy Chris (and hopefully Blagg, too). Hung out / cooked dinner with Chris, after which we went to the Copper Tank to catch the Duke / Maryland game (where we met up with Chris's dorky Duke friends (okay - I'm kidding about the dorky bit)). Then, partied up and down 6th street. Yay. Tomorrow we're going to do some outdoor sport climbing. At night, we have multiple options as there are multiple parties to which we were invited. Yay. The day after we're going somewhere else to go bouldering (rock climbing w/out ropes). Yay. BTW, scarf girl (http://www.visionflow.net/scarfgirl/blog.html). I was doing a random google search on "heehorse" and noticed that you're linking to my homepage - do I know you? You seem to be from the bay area, so that's entirely possible. Anyways, heehorse, signing off. (3.53 am

After: I'm finally done with Law School + Grad School Applications!! For those of you who still need to know, the grand plan now is to do a joint Law School / Grad School (International Relations), succeed with flying colors in order to join the UN, change the world for the better, and eventually be Inter-galactic president of the... well... inter-galaxy. Okay, maybe I'm exagerating a bit, but that's the general idea. More pragmatically, I'm hoping that having applied to 6 law schools and 5 grad schools, I'll have something to do come Fall. In the mean time, the plan was to pick up and move to SF. I have two pretty good job leads there right now, thanks very much to past and present sape friends in the area. However, if neither of those turn out anything (With my job-hunting luck - I wouldn't be too surprised), I might be staying in Dallas a bit longer than I expected - problem is that my back isn't stabalizing - I can't walk more than a block without losing feeling in my leg - I can't even follow the sit/stand/sit/stand/sit/stand routine of a Catholic mass without having to sit while everyone else is standing. But then perhaps I'm overdramaticizing this a bit. In any case, the bottom line is, Dallas right now is a much better place for me to heal than SF. In other news, my buddy Chris Lau (who some of you may remember had the joy of finally finding a new job a few months ago) has promptly been laid off again. I might be taking a short trip, between phyisical therapy sessions, down to Austin to visit him and my other buddy David Blagggg. \o/! (7.02 pm
