So... today is my birthday...

Usually I´ve always had this giddy little-kid attitude of anticipation for my birthday. This year, I´m feeling downright unenthusiastic... I guess by the time you´re 26, birthdays should be old-hat. I dunno though, I´m feeling so blase about life in general right now... Something just feels a bit off-kilter. Can´t place my finger on it...

Or maybe it´s just because I just had to wake up extra-early this morning to go to job that I don´t get paid for and because I´m supposed to stay late... ack I´m already late.

Wow - totally unexpected. I thought I was pretty astute in these matters of rooting out surprises (or supplies?). Got completely caught unawares in an early surprise birthday celebration for my birthday by all the DC peeps. I thought amy couldn´t every keep a secret under wraps, but wow. As they say in the corporate world, "exceeded expectations". Best...girlfriend....ever...


Anyways, hung out at HR-57 (best....club....ever), with the peeps. Had a good time, as everyone else did...
Apparently, Matrix Reloaded has caught on in Japan in a way that´s a bit indescribable

Had a great night hanging out with Ann and her friend at Stetsons tonight. Her friend has a pretty high position in the government, and talking with him was very enlightening... For the most part, I´ve been losing more and more faith in our government, but talking with him has restored a bit my faith in the government. I still whole heartedly disagree with current policies, I do have faith that as an institution, our government is very competent and is able to function positively, if given the right direction...
