Kim Jong Il, John Woo style
At work the other day, I walked into someone's office, and they had this posted up on their wall:![]() After intially laughing, I quickly assumed it was some punk kid who took photoshop to create some irony. In fact, I found out, this is actually a photograph of a mural in Pyongyang, North Korea's capital. Now that's crazy. In any case, it begs for some photoshopping... (12.14 pm

New Post
Haven´t posted in a while...I´ve been trying to keep good work habits by keeping non-work stuff out of work. I think it´s easy for people to fall into habits of doing more and more websurfing, aim´ing, etc, and end up either being much less productive, or staying at work much longer. I guess I was inspired by Wolf´s comment last week about the Swiss work-ethic - how they really don´t work long hours, but they´re ruthlessly efficient when they´re at work. I´d like to be ruthlessly efficient... Work has been really good so far. I can safely say it exceeded my expectations. Not to say, however, that I´m completely blown away. Yet, it´s interesting and has positive impact. I do have to say, however, that it´s a bit frustrating to start all over at the very bottom again. Anyway, I think I´ll have a positive experience this summer out of which I´ll get a lot, so I won´t be wasting my time, or falling behind... Ah, soo tired though... Lets see, Wednesday night Amy and I took Wolf out to the Apple store, because he wanted to buy an iPod at non-german prices... Then we watched Zoolander Last night, we went out to HR-57. It was great. Great atmosphere, very real (unlike the plastic walls of Bohemian Caverns), and great music. Oh, and it´s bring your own alcohol, which keeps things affordable, and you drink exactly what you want to drink. Wolf, Amy, and I shared two bottles of red wine. Also met up randomly with a group of SAIS people who were also there. Recent purchases: As you may have noticed, I just got myself a Nokia camera-phone. I´ll rave about it more later, but one of the many many things it is capable of doing is allowing me to post to here remotely. Eventually I can even post up the pictures I take with it, right as soon as I take them. Cool huh? And it cost me $0 to boot (Amazon rebate). Also, amy just put down cash for a new PowerBook G4 from Apple and a new iPod. I´m so excited because then we can do all those cool Apple things that you see on commercials and stuff. We´ll be uber-dorks... (7.05 pm
