In less than 48 hours, I'm back online on my broadband connection. Exite@home went bankrupt - nevermind that - AT&T, the owner of the cables through which Exite@home provided its service just went in and gave us their own internet broadband service instead. Yay.

So I just got my cable-modem/broadband-access/lifeline cut off, as millions of other @home subscribers out there, I presume. Messy. Poo.

Last night I went out to my sister's Med school christmas party. It was ... interesting. Afterwards, I met a new/old Sape friend at to see DJ Krush spin some trip-hop. It was okay - the free-style MC's and drum and bass group was pretty good too.

it's great to be back in the USA!

Sorry still haven't really gotten in touch with many of you, mainly because I'm still jet-lagged up the butt and I've been pretty much a zombie ever since I've been back. In any case, all the digital-camera pictures are on heehorse.com now, and I just picked up my 14 rolls of film from the developing place, so you'll get to see those online soon too!

btw, on my.yahoo, I have the weather for Chicago, Dallas, London, New York, and San Francisco up. I think it's pretty messed up when the Dallas high's and low's are colder than everyone else's. The world's gone mad! - and I'm freezing my butt off down here!
